PR Rolls Oy was named Value Adder of the Year

Arvo Investment Cooperative has named PR Rolls Oy, which specializes in demanding industrial coating, processing, and maintenance work, as Value Adder of the Year. Arvo CEO Jari Pirinen presented the award during Arvo Day in Ylivieska.

“PR Rolls is a family-owned company based in Pyhäjoki, but also one of the most international companies in Arvo's investment portfolio. The company offers first-class expertise and makes it profitable,” said Jari Pirinen of Arvo at the Value Adder Award ceremony.

Specializing in field work, demanding coating, processing, and maintenance work, the company operates all over the world and requires a high degree of flexibility from its employees.

“Among other things, we maintain paper and pulp mills, and now we also carry out coatings and modernizations of production facilities for the food industry. It's a matter of minutes before such a large factory line is stopped for maintenance. You should always be prepared for surprises in such situations,” says PR Rolls CEO Jani Westerlund, describing the company's field of activity.

The traditional networking day of the Arvo Investment Cooperative is aimed at key figures in Arvo's portfolio companies and stakeholders. This year, the event focused on the bumpy road of entrepreneurship and the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in the economy. The new CEO of marketing and communications agency Valve Branding, Heidi Kananen, and futurologist and postdoctoral researcher Janne Parkkila shared their own experiences with the audience.
